National Accreditation offers national recognition to child care programs meeting the highest standards for early care and education. The highest level of quality is achieved through a process that examines all aspects of the child care program, and encompasses a comprehensive set of standards broken down into five core competencies: relationships, the environment, developmental learning activities, safety, health, and professional and business practices.

 

HONORING OUR MILITARY FAMILIES:

 

Little Munchkins Academy is honored to be working with Child Care Aware of America’s Military Fee Assistance programs. As a Nationally Accredited preschool, Little Munchkins Academy meets the requirements of a Preferred Provider and is approved to receive payments for any military family eligible  for our Military Child Care in Your Neighborhood (MCCYN) program. Military Child Care in Your Neighborhood is a reduced fee assistance program for active duty or deployed Service Members that are unable to obtain child care on a Military installation. A Preferred Provider is a child development program that meets all requirements and standards as defined in the MCCYN program. This means that Little Munchkins Academy has a state license, national accreditation, and an annual inspection from within the past 12 months free of disqualifying incidents.

  • California Association for Family Child Care (CAFCC) - Member
  • Child Care Council ELDP - Program participant
  • Child Care Council ELDP Demonstration Site – Program participant
